Oria is an AI-powered chatbot that makes healthcare's most essential facts free and easy to find — what care costs, and who provides it. Ask questions in plain English and get instant answers backed with evidence from public hospital price transparency data and Trilliant Health's Provider Directory.

How it works

Our specialized AI chatbot understands your questions and automatically queries our databases of hospital price transparency and provider directory data to provide accurate, up-to-date answers. You can ask about:

• Pricing for specific medical procedures (MRI, surgery, lab tests)
• Insurance negotiated rates
• Medical codes (CPT, HCPCS, DRG)
• Comparing costs between different services
• Providers by specialty, location and organization affiliation
• Provider details like practice locations, patient panels and Open Payments financial relationships

Data Sources

Our data comes from two publicly available sources:

1. Pricing data comes from the machine-readable files posted by hospitals: standard charges, negotiated rates with insurance companies, and cash prices. We've processed and structured these datasets so they're easily searchable and understandable. You can also explore the data yourself.
2. Provider data comes from Trilliant Health's Provider Directory, covering 3.1M+ individual providers and 2.8M+ healthcare organizations. Provider and organization data is combined from a variety of nationwide sources and enriched through machine learning classification, backed by claims evidence, to help you understand where providers practice, what type of care they provide, and which organizations they are affiliated with.
